In a society where we are constantly judged based on their appearances, We’re All Wonders is an uplifting short story and positive reminder to children that we are in fact all wonders and our differences are what make us wonders. As Auggie accepts that he cannot change he way he looks, he realizes maybe people can change the way they see him. As he looks at Earth from this far away planet he realizes how many people there are on Earth, how different everyone is, and how the Earth is surely big enough for all kinds of people. As Auggie deals with hurt feelings and whispers behind his back, he escapes reality by blasting off to Pluto in an imaginary rocket with his dog Daisy. Auggie does everything any other child does, but looks a little different, so is sometimes seen as an outcast. We’re All Wonders tells the story of a young boy, Auggie, the main character from Wonder. Palacio, the author of the best selling novel-turned-movie Wonder, comes a picture book spin-off about diversity and acceptance. We’re All Wonders, Written and Illustrated by R.J.
